What it is

The right support, in the place you call home

SIL is funded support that helps you live as independently as possible in your own home — whether that's your family home, a share house, or your own place. It covers the everyday things: personal care, cooking, medication, budgeting, and the routines that keep a home running.

Our support workers become a consistent, familiar part of your life. We match you with people you actually get along with, and we build a roster around your routine, not the other way around.

You stay in charge of how you live. Our job is to support you to do the things you want to do, safely and on your own terms.

Common questions

Supported Independent Living (SIL) FAQs
What's the difference between SIL and SDA?

SIL is the support you receive in the home — the people who help you. SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) is the physical housing itself. They're funded separately and often work together.

Can I choose my own support workers?

Yes. We match you with workers who fit your personality and needs, and you can tell us if a worker isn't the right fit. Consistency and a good relationship matter to us.

How much SIL support do I get?

That depends on your NDIS plan and your goals. It can range from a few hours a day to 24/7 support. We'll help you understand what your plan funds and build around it.
